Corporate and Personal Directory - UCM 6.1 and AD

Hi!

We are using UCM 6.1. MS 2003 AD is synchronized for purpose of authentication and also for Corporate Directory. All users also have defined their DN inside AD. Corporate Directory is working fine BUT just one way direction. If internal user is calling another internal user there is no user name, just DN.

My questions are:

- Is it possible for internal incoming calls to show not just DN but also user name?

- If user is logged in his Personal Directory and has defined names and numbers is it for incoming external calls possible to show also name and not just DN?

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible as the CallManager has no way of identifying the location of incoming calls.

If you wanted to identify a select number of companies when they call in, the best solution is create CTI route points with alerting names. Each company would then have their individual DDI to contact you and when they called you would know exactly who it was..
