Stopping log entries

Hi,

The switches logs in one of our switch is filled with SNMP request from couple of servers and looks like the following -

008391: Apr 30 14:36:38.167: %SNMP-3-AUTHFAIL: Authentication failure for SNMP req from host 164.112.148.222

008392: Apr 30 14:37:38.557: %SNMP-3-AUTHFAIL: Authentication failure for SNMP req from host 164.112.148.222

Is there any way to stop these log entries on the router by applying ACL or by any other means??

Thanks

Rajesh

Is 164.112.148.222 an SNMP server from which you want to accept requests? If so I would suggest that the simple solution is to fix the authentication issue. If it is not then perhaps you want to add a line on an inbound access list which would deny snmp from that source address.
