I've got that error message :

Unable to create the jobmanager instance. Check if JRM is up and running.

Anytime I want to schedule, see or modify a job.

I'm using LMS 3.1 on windows.

Anyone ?

thanks.

Please post the output of the pdshow command.

I've tried to stop/start the JRM process...

Was the hostname on this server changed recently?

Well, I did not change the hostname of the server, but I've changed the hostname in the "Self Signed certificate Setup" few days ago.

Also, I've just rebooted the server and it seems that the problem is only on the HUM module. I can do "Job management" or "Job report" on RME, IPM, CM without any error.

Thanks.

The pdshow indicated CTMJrmServer was down which would affect RME. Is this no longer the case?

CTMJrmServer Running normally 11088 0 0 8/12/2008 11:56:09 AM Not applicable

I confirm that I cannot enter in the "Reports Management" and "Report job Browser" in HUM.

Please post the upm_ui.log.

Here you are.

Enable HUM UI debugging under HUM > Admin > Log Level Settings, then repeat the error. Repost the upm_ui.log along with NMSROOT\lib\classpath\jrmuser.properties and the output of the SET command.

GREAT, I found my problem.

I changed the user identity but I did not change the username in the jrmuser.properties file and now it is working fine for HUM.

Do I have to change the username on other files ?

JClarke, your help on that forum is very useful.

Many thanks.

No, this file alone should suffice.
