how to upgrade the IOS for wlc 526 without using CCA ?

HI all,

i need advise on how to upgrade the ios for wlc 526 with out using the cca.

using cli ?

cca need ios 4.2 and above and my ios is 4.0.

I havent tried this personally but I think it will work. Go to the gui on the 526 just like you would a 2106. Go to commands, download code, and then upgrade the code via a tftp server that supports 32mb files or larger. I think it works in the 526 but I'm not sure.

he is correct..... you can use the GUI on the WLC but not the CLI....the CLI on the WLC526 is locked out (this is different from the enterprise controllers)
