Solved: CCX 5.0(2) - Installation

Hi!

I'm having some problems intalling CCX on a server. The first time it went fine but I decided to repeat the whole process and know the following error message appears when I insert the CCX DVD:

"The SQL2K cannot be instlled on this machine as this machine doesn't have a CRS Instance Installed.

Please run CRS setup on this machine before running SQL2K setup"

This after I re-image the server using the Windows 2003.1.2 dvd given by Cisco.

Are you following the proper steps? It appears that you are attempting to install sql server or MSDE before running the install media.

Hi!

You're right. I couldn't find the CRS Installer DVD so I was using the SQL2K installer by mistake.
