Database Backup very long - 2.5.1 to 3.0

Hi,

The window appears:

Backup in progress......

Very very long...(since 2 hours)

How many can take the backup database?

Can i upgrade 2.5.1 to 3.0 without to do a backup? A maintenance was done already with CS.

The backup can take hours depending on the size of the underlying databases. No, you cannot upgrade to LMS 3.0 from 2.5.1 without a backup. The data is not directly transferable. The backup must be taken if you want any data to be migrated.

The most we've seen, and this is with more recent versions including HUM, has been 10 hours. Since the log doesn't show any errors, it looks like the backup is still going.
