Unanswered Question

I have a Cisco 2821 with 4 ISDN BRI vics (VIC-2bri/nt-te). Trying to

integrate with Polycom VSX 7000 videoconferencing unit with 4 BRI units on it as well. I have used the

following link to setup a BRI cross over cable with pins 3,4,5,6 crossed.

I have tried making two different cables but the links dont come up. Switch setting on

both ends are set to National ISDN1. Show isdn status output shows DEACTIVATED.

THe configs on the Cisco router are as follows.

interface BRI0/2/0

no ip address

isdn switch-type basic-ni

isdn timer T309 30000

isdn protocol-emulate network

isdn tei-negotiation first-call

isdn point-to-point-setup

isdn layer1-emulate network

isdn spid1 XXXX

isdn spid2 XXXX

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn supp-service name calling

isdn skipsend-idverify

line-power

end

I have this problem too.
