Solved: Unity VM or UM?? Pls suggest

Hi All,

Following is our requirements for Unity.

Can you please suggest whether VM only license alone will suffice for our requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Plain old voice mail with MWI functionality

2. An email notification to be sent to the user on his current email id when there is a new voice mail message for him. We just want a simple smtp notification to be sent. We dont want the voice mail message to be sent as a wav file.

Nice to have requirement:

1. Cisco Unity Inbox (the option to listen to and delete messages through a website)

Can you please suggest what license should we have to buy for the mandatory requirements and what license should we hve to buy for the Nice-to-have requirement of Cisco Unity Inbox.

All of your listed requirements can be provided with a Unity voicemail only deployment. Cisco Unity Inbox is a licensed feature. You would need to purchase the appropriate amount of licenses for the subscribers using this feature.
