Hi,

I am running into a problem where I have created 2 separate VLANS, and would like to have communication for some device to communicate with other devices in other VLAN on a single 3750 switch.

Here is what I've done

created VLAN 10 and 20

SVI VLAN 10 with IP 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

SVI VLAN 20 with IP 100.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

Ip routing enabled

Device A in VLAN 10

GW 10.10.10.1 /24

IP 10.10.10.100 /24

Device B in VLAN 20

GW 100.10.10.1 /24

IP 100.10.10.100 /24

Now, Device A and Device B are able to ping the SVI VLAN 10 or VLAN 20's IP, the problem is I am not able to ping from Device A to Device B or from Device B to Device A. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Are you able to ping from the switch to those computers? Make sure computer's firewall is not blocking you from doing a simple ping.

Hello,

chech if you configured it like this:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/products_configuration_example09186a00801cc828.shtml

In the moment I see not really a problem in your notes.

Thank you Gary, after disabled the firewalls from both devices, they are now pingable. Thank you very much for your help!
