Can you override the DND feature from a phone on the same CallManager?

I think MLPP is the way I want to go. I just want to make sure I know how to do this and how to perform the override from the phone itself.

Hi Clifford,

You're correct. With DND enabled, incoming calls with normal priority will honor the DND settings for that device while high priority calls such as CER and MLPP calls will override the DND settings.

Additionally, User Invoked Feature calls will also override the DND settings and will ring the device. The User Invoked Features that may override DND include:

* Park Reversion overrides DND for locally parked call. If Phone A is on DND and parked a call, the park reversion to Phone A will occur normally and will ring Phone A.

* Pickup and GPickup overrides DND for locally placed Pickup request. If Phone A is on DND and initiates a Pickup, the Pickup call would be presented normally and it will ring Phone A.

* Hold Reversion/Intercom overrides DND and the call will presented normally.

* CallBack overrides DND. When device is on DND Ringer Off mode, the CallBack notification (both audio and visual) will still be presented to the user.

Also, manually forwarding the phone will override DND.

Hope this helps.
