WAAS Mobile - Server Platform

WAAS Mobile server is installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2, which is a member of Domain. The problem we have is that Mobile Client fails UDP test on startup. This failure occurs both with the client connected across a VPN as well as on the same segment as the Server. The questions are:

1. Can a WAAS Mobile Server be installed on a Domain Member Server or does it require a standalone platform?

2. What would cause the client to fail UDP test and how can I troubleshoot it?

It is recommended not to run any other applications on the WAAS Mobile Server.

Also, if an antivirus software is running you will need to allow any outgoing ports the server may use. In addition check to make sure if a firewall is between the client and mobile server. if so, you will need to allow TCP / UDP port 1182.
