Hi experts,
Got 1 phone which is faulty! no audio/sound!
we got 3 offices, lets say Site A where the CM is located), site B & site C.
this faulty phone is in Site A, when used within site A, it's working well.
However when calling Site B & C, there's no sound/audio. testing shows that its codec is also g.729 as a normal call between each site. also only this phone have this problem! so I would say it's not the firmware (correct me if i'm wrong). also done a factory reset, but still the same.
firmware: SCCP41.8-3-4SR1S
Any more troubleshooting ideas?

Does it happen to be on a different IP Subnet then all the other phones? If it is, I would say bad routing configuration..

Nope, it's on the same subnet. it is the only one that have this issue. all other are working well. also the hardware is working well within Site A.
any bugs related to this?

Testing shows that when we use codec g.711, all is working well bet the 3 sites but when g.729 is used, there's no audio between each site even within site A.

Hopefully someone there have any troubleshooting tips on this issue? cannot log to TAC since our contract has expired.

Oh if thats the case I can almost bet its a Transcoding issue! Are Media Resource's configured?

of course they are! only this phone has the problem, all the other phones works well with codecs g.729 & g.711.
Or there is a media resource configuration on this specific ip phone unit (7941)? details pls...
any more troubleshooting tips?
