Need the details for this command.

I have questions regarding to this command:

show interfaces status mod 2;

What "mod" means? Module 2 or Mode 2?

If it means Module, how can I find the correct module the ports reside?

Indeed it means module.

In regards to the modules/ports question, if you use only show interface status, you will get a list of ports so for example for Gig1/1, the first number will be the module and the second for the port.

Also, show module all will let you know the modules you have along with its correspondent number.
