I consider this a trivial issue but when the boss tells you to do something......
We are going through an audit part of which consists of a scan of our network. On a number of my Cisco devices the scanner displays an error "NTP Based OS Identification", meaning that when the scanner sent a NTP OS querey, the Cisco device answered back "Cisco". The auditors requested that we turn this off.
Any one know how to do that? I don't, not without actually disabling NTP altogether.
Thanks in advance for any help.
