Alert problem using IP phone messenger

Hi all,

we have integrated Cisco Unified presence version 6.x with CCM 6.x

From the IP phones we are able to send short text messages to other IP phones which have been added in contacts list . The problem is that the receiver IP phone receives the message but no alert /indication is coming on receiver IP phone.

only when user logins using his USERID & PIN , then, he can see that the message been received by his phone.

Can somebody guie where could be the problem ?is there something we need to do on Ip phone ?

I have the same problem with CUCM and CUCP

there is no audible alert on IPPM.

the messages get to the phones but not visual or audible alert, even when it is ON on the settings or on the Presence User page options.

Problem Solved.

the IPPM App User user needs to have the phones associated to it in order to Audible Alert to work.
