Upgrading 2950 Switch

I am trying to upgrade an Cisco 2950 switch. The version that is currntly on the switch is 12.0 (5.3) WC (1). Some of the command do not work. I am getting the command from the Cisco documentation. I have guest level access to the Cisco Site. How would I go about upgrading the switch.

First check to see if you have enough room on the flash: to tftp the new bin file. If not then you need to delete the old bin file. Then tftp the new bin file. if a tar file file just change the .tar to .bin
