PPP multilink bundle max-interface configuration

Hi Fellow Networkers,

I am bundling two E1 lines in a PPP multilink bundle. need to check the command reuqired to configure on multilink interface so that if any E1 goes down, bundle shld go down.

I am trying to shut a interface manually but ppp is just removing that interface from bundle but still the link is up?

Any help is really appreciated

Hello Mohinder,

in the multilink config you need to specify the minimum links to be up to stay up

so the command should be

ppp multilink min-link 2

or

ppp multilink links minimum 2 (IOS 12.2 or higher)
