Nortel option 81 to CCM 6 and Unity QSIG Caller ID not working

I am currently replacing a Meridian MAil with Unity. Users will still use their Meridian phones (for now). Our setup includes a Nortel Option 81 version 3 connected to a 3845 gateway programmed via the callmanager as QSIG. We have followed documentation guidelines.

Problem: when we dial a nortel meridian phone extension which forwards to Unity over the QSIG, the Unity sees the caller ID of the Calling party and does not see the caller ID of the nortel meridian phone. Instead of the greeting for the phone, we are getting the generic Unity Attendant.

We have been told that upgrading the nortel to version 5 will provide a feature "network call redirection" that will fix this problem. Anyone have an option 81 with version 3 working? Any suggestions?

I have attached 2 files: Nortelqsiq.txt is the Q931 call trace and nortel_programming.pdf is the current nortel programming (NCRD NO is the only option and cannot be changed to YES in the current release)
