Kickstart server on a different subnet

Unanswered Question

Can anyone tell me what's required to have a linux system boot from a kickstart server on another network?

The system we are trying to build is several hops away from the kickstart server.

I'm assuming my bootp packets are being dropped at the local router interface..

I have this problem too.

Put "ip helper-address " on the layer-3 interface that the linux system is on.
