Hello Driss,

I have seen similar issues before and the problem was that the service was activated from Windows Services and not from the CCM Service Activation page; try these steps:

- Go to start >> Run.

- Enter "services.msc" and hit enter.

- Right-click the "Cisco Telephony Dispatcher" service, and change the startup method to Disabled and then hit OK.

- Go to the CallManager Administration page, choose Application > Cisco Unified CallManager Serviceability.

- Choose Tools > Service Activation.

- From the Servers pane, choose the server.

- Check the check box next to the Cisco TCD service.

- Click Update.

At this point, check if the service is running under the Control Center page (Tools >> Control Center).

Note: The Cisco Unified CallManager services do not start until you activate them by using Service Activation. Taken from the service activation link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/service/4_2_3/ccmsrva/sasrvact.html

Hope this helps!

hello,

thanks for reply.

i have made what you said me but at the control center the service is still stopped and cannot be started .

is there any possibility to remove and reinstall this service again.

Regards

Driss,

One last thing, have you checked if the passwords are synchronized? This might be a problem with the service password, please follow these steps during non-production hours (the procedure will restart all the Cisco services for all the CCM servers):

- On the Pub, go to Start >> Run >> type "adminutility" and hit OK.

- Enter the Administrator password and hit OK.

- Click on the "Options" Menu and select "Set New Password".

- Type the password twice and hit OK.

- On the warning, hit OK (at this point, all the services will be stopped and the passwords synchronization started.

- Wait ~2 minutes, the services will be started upon completion.

Please let us know how it goes!
