We're going to install LMS into a nonglobal Solaris zone soon.
If I do not reserve an extra physical interface for the zone, the builtin packet sniffer (jet)
will not work, since it can't switch the network interface into promiscuous mode.
I can live with that limitation, since I can easily use snoop in the global zone instead.
But I'm wondering if there are further limitations which could convince me to add an extra interface to this machine.

None that we have found. JET is the only thing that requires raw driver access, and thus would benefit from a dedicated interface (provided you're running new enough Solaris).

Thanks Joe,
I'm going to use a single interface, then.
