If the 2811 router reached over 40c, would it power down or would it goes to sleep mode?

Hi

I would suggest not to wait the router to go down totally or into sleep mode.

Though it may work fine for some more time its not recommended to run the box on the same condition.

Better to start taking measures to bring down the working temperature so that you can preserve the cards/ports installed in the router.
