I have a number of 1242AG's installed in a factory, and one of which will not operate properly, as it is on a girder about 20m high, I cannot see which LED, but either the ethernet or radio LED is red, and the status LED is green. This occurs about halfway through the boot process.
Cisco network assistant can see the device, but it cannot be pinged and cannot be telnet-ed to!
HELP!
Thanks.

Is this an autonomous AP of LAP?

Autonomous AP.
Thanks for the link, I think I will be able to manage now. I could not find that page no matter how much I searched!
Thanks.

The matrix was on the link I sent you. You just need to figure out which light is what.
