Hi,
I just installed CUWL license on my Publisher version 6.1 CUCM Server. The CCM node count (as you would expect is 1)
I will be adding a second CUCM.
Does anybody know what the procedure is for obtaining a second node license?

simply ask for a node license and provide the MAC address from the licensing server, usually the PUB takes this role

Thanks Java,
I installed the 2nd node license. However I get following error message during 2nd node installation:
'Configuration validation with ukshqpub01 (10.15.28.10) failed.
Configured first node ukshqpub01 is not a First Node.
Name of the Publisher node is ukshqpub01 - I configured the second node manually on
ukshqpub01 (system>server the added the second node).
I have verified IP connectivity between the Publisher and the second node).
I have also restarted CCM service on Publisher and rebooted Publisher but I still get the same issue.
I've attached screenshots from the License Unit pages. It seems (to me from these screenshots) that the issue may be down to licencing?
Do you have screenshots for a succesfull second node install that I can compare with?
Thanks for your help so far!

have you already added the 2nd server under CUCM admin as per the guides???
BTW, no screenshots are attached to your reply

Hi java,
I've got a TAC case open. TAC Engineer thinks it is a known issue. Just sent him log files
Have you carried out 6.1.2 install with 2 or more nodes?

yes, just the same as any 5.x or 6.1(1) installs
actually you don't even need the license to perform the install, license is needed when you try to activate the CCM process.
