Why no show Caller ID?

I use Siemens 2015 analog phone to connect VG224, but Seimens can't get calling number. It's ok when using another factory's analog phone insteaded.

Is there some parameter I should do in CCM/VG224 under MGCP?

Hi,

As far as I recall, the VG224 does not support CLI under MGCP. You will need to run SCCP to get it, along with a lot of the other supplementary features.

Hi,

Have you enabled it on the gateway?

you need 'caller-id enable' set for each voice port requiring caller ID.

yes, I did it.

U know the other manufacture's analog phone can got the calling id every well under the current VG configuration.

I have another testing , directly connect the Siemens analog phone to Tele Service Provider analog line, it's ok...
