I need your support regarding 7940/7960 support for monitoring/recording feature at CUCM 6.0, as my customer has more than 3000 phones all are 2-3 years old (mixed 7940, 7960 & 7970), we need to implement the new feature using 3rd party Voice Recording Software
According to the following link those phone are not supported:
"Agent devices must be able to mix media for monitoring and to fork media for recording.
The system supports the following Cisco third-generation IP phones: 7906G, 7911G, 7931G, 7941G, 7941G-GE, 7961G, 7961G-GE, 7970G, and 7971G-GE."
Please advice if it's possible to work with this feature using 7940/7960 as upgrading for 3000 IP Phone may not accepted at this phase with the customer.
