Advanced Wireless Recertification

Unanswered Question

Does anyone know (with certainty) what's required to recertify the two Advanced Wireless Specialist certifications? The Cisco AWLANFE site says to pass all required exams in order to recertify However, having just retaken the Lifecycles exam, it appears that both my AWLANFE and AWLANSE certs have been recertified entirely, and now have expiration dates in 2010.

The site I referred to above is http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le41/le86/le96/learning_certification_type_home_extra_level.html

I called Cisco customer service, and I was informed that I needed to take the 642-XXX wireless exams as well. Honestly, it didn't sound like she knew anything with certainty, and I think she was reading straight off the site referenced above.

Has anyone recerted that can verify that only Lifecycles is required to recertify both exams? I'd like not to study for an take an exam that isn't needed, but I also don't want my certification to expire. Thanks in advance for your time!

Jeff

No one was able to answer this, but I finally received a response from Cisco after 2 weeks (and after my certification expired) that confirmed that both exams are needed for recertification of each Wireless cert. Apparently the updated dates in my certification tracking was an error.

I hope this helps anyone else that's coming up on recertification for this.
