there are really too many things and the question is really open to answer, i'd recommend you to go to
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/netsol/ns656/networking_solutions_program_home.html
and look at the document for what you want. CUCM, Unity, CUC, UCCX, UCCE, etc
all of those are our best practices and contain requirements for network, capacity, etc

If you are looking with in cisco go follow the previously suggested link. Or google it and there are lot of resources.
Best is to draw some boundries and parameters and then look for your requirements under that guideline.

just some thoughts...
Voice prioritization (packet labeling) on routers, current firmware in routers, good cabling, clear IP path to platform/call manager with no to minimal hops on public internet; no packet loss, minimal jitter and latency, good MOS score of 4.0 or higher, use pre-assessment software before deployment, good bandwidth sizing (on G.729 codec approx 30k of bw needed per simultaneous call session; check data usage)
