Hi, how can I restrict the outgoing calls to specific numbers? For example, I dont want to restrict the calls from our cluster to PSTN number 1800123456. We have CCM 4.1(3) cluster in our setup.

You need to implement class of service, by utilizing paritions/calling search spaces. Please refer to CM System Guide for details.

If you already have PT/CSS implemented, all you need to do is add a blocking route pattern or translation pattern with DN 91800123456, assuming you use 9 for off-net access code and place it in global parition reachable by all phone CSSes, this way nobody will be able to call it.

Typically I create a dedicated parition TollFraud-PT and place all blocked patterns in it, i.e. 900/966/Caribean area codes, and put this PT in all CSS, this way you have a little bit more control.

HTH,

Chris
