I have two new ASA 5510s, with 7.2(2)10 configured for active/standby failover.
due to ASA interface limitation/availability, I am using only one interface for both LAN-base and stateful failover:
interface Ethernet0/3
speed 100
duplex full
!
interface Ethernet0/3.2
description LAN Failover Interface
vlan 20
!
interface Ethernet0/3.3
description STATE Failover Interface
vlan 30
failover is working, but I'm concern that when I enter âshow failoverâ the firewalls don't see each other
any help?
thanks, kevin

First of all you don't need sub-interfaces if you share the Failover/Stateful interface(s). Just use Eth0/0.
Secondly is it possible to post the output of 'show failover? and if possible show run failover.
