Hi,

I have a core switch Cisco 3750G (1 No) and Cisco 2960G (7 Nos).I have successfully created " Etherchannel between Cisco 2960 G (6 Nos) to Core Cisco 3750,when I am trying to configure the ether channel between the 7th Cisco 2960 G to the core cisco 3750,it is not allowing me to....As the Cisco document the Cisco 2960 G will support upto 6 etherchannel. Is there any way to configure nore than 6 ether channel. Please guide us.

Regards,

Lavanholy

NO of etherchannel is limited to 48 on 3750 as per IOS 12.2(25)SEE

For 2960G it is limited to 6 as per IOS 12.2(25)SEE.

Best option would be to have 2 cores, and put one uplink from 2960G to each 3750 without etherchannel.

So you have core redundancy at 3750.

And you have uplink redundancy at 2960G.
