After CCNA ... What is best?

Unanswered Question

My children took CCNA and passed. Now the question is whether to go for CCNA security or directly CCNP?

One of them is interested in security and the other could not make up between IP telephony and /or wireless.

Can someone guide us? we are from India..

How old are they? Certifications without real-world experience are pretty much worthless. Nobody is going to let a CCNA without experience work on routers and switches.

And as far as "best", that would be up to the person taking the test. The best thing for me is the thing I am most interested in, not what could possibly make me more money. :)

imho upgrade to CCNP. that's where i'm headed right now after taking my CCNA. CCNP has advance topics covered in CCNA. it also has VoIP and wireless topics (in BCMSN). CCNP also helped a lot in my current job as a network engineer!
