Hi

While editing Device and Credentials am getting the follwing error

Error in communicating with DCA Server

can any one help me to fix this problem please.

Correct Answer by Joe Clarke about 8 years 11 months ago

Shutdown Daemon Manager, and disable any on-access anti-virus scanning of NMSROOT (i.e. the path into which you installed CiscoWorks). Then restart Daemon Manager. This error should go away.

Please post the output of the pdshow command. Is CiscoWorks running on Windows or Solaris?

jrclarke,

I have had intermittent issues with DCR service not communication, I shutdown and restart the daemon manager, DCR service finally comes up however several days later it goes down again. I do not have any anti-virus software running, any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jaffer
