What would happen if a edge port (set with portfast) recieved a BPDU from another switch. We are running Rapid-PVST? would this cause a loop?

never ever make a linke between two switches as portfast because portfast take the port from the blocking to forwarding state directly so this port will not be in blocking or even wont participate in root elction prosess it is only used with access port to avoid problems that happen especially when the client in the access port takeing its IP from a DHCP server

Use PortFast in conjuction with BPDU Guard to avoid loops on the edge ports.
