Which command is able to display interfaces' IP address, status and uptime?

The command: show ip interface brief will show the interface name, it's IP address, when the IP was set (boot time, or by config) it's current physical and logical status.


And I don't know about uptime, but the command: show interfaces link will show how long a physical interface has been down.

router#show logging


Will show you a history of all interfaces and the UP DOWN status.


you might want to increase the log size to get more keep more information


router#logging buffered 4096 errors

You may want to reconsider your advice.


Executing a "sh log" will not give you any interface status and configuration information at all.


Yes, if an interface happened to go down or come back up, there will be an indication in the log. But that is hardly a reasonable way to go about getting interface information.
