I currently have a 2821 gateway with dial-peers. Access code is 7 along with 10 digit dialing. The end user dials 77042895829. The CCM routes the call to the gateway. The router sends 10 digits, which includes the access code, but strips the last digit. See below for the 2 dial-peers that matches the digits along with the debug that shows the 10 digits that are being sent. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
dial-peer voice 31234 pots
destination-pattern [2-9].........
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits all
dial-peer voice 99 pots
destination-pattern 7[2-9].........
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits 10
Calling Party Number i = 0x0080, '29994'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '7704289582'

your 99 dp states only to send 10 digits.. which it does the number above is 11 digits "77042895829" so it cuts the last dig off :)

What command do I use to send only 10 digits, which would strip the access code? I have other dial-peers that say forward x # of digits and they strip the first digit instead of the last digit, when there is x+1 digits sent.

With Forward Digit 3 command, it sends the right most digit.
In your case it should send 7042895829 and should remove the first "7" from the number.
I bet there must be some other dial peer matching..
TP is another way of achieving this...

try the folloiwng
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /7\(7[2-9]........\)/ /\1/
voice translation-profile profile 1
translate called 1
dial-peer voice 99 pots
translation-profile outgoing profile1
destination-pattern 7[2-9].........
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
port 0/0/0:23
notece that there is no need now for the forward digit # now
this translation profile will remove the first 7 after matching the dialed number when the call is going out
good luck
please, if helpful Rate

Marwin,
In as much as your solution is good, I am curious to know why the router is not stripping the first 7 digit. By deafult routers will strip from left to right. Hence the first 7 digit should be stripped...There should nto be any need for a xlation rule here

Is there more than just the dial peers that you posted? Can you do a debug and post which dial peer is being hit.
