I m using Catalyst 2900 series xl IOS Version 12.0(5)WC8.. How to configure port mirroring on this switch.. Pls help..

Hi,

you have to configure SPAN/RSPAN feature in your switch.you can get the document on cisco site.

or tell me full setup where you want to mirror ur traffic.

Further to discussion attached is the configuration and monitoring example

Switch-A# configure terminal

Switch-A(config)# monitor session 1 source interface fastEthernet0/2 both

Switch-A(config)# monitor session 1 destination interface fastEthernet0/3

Switch-A(config)# exit

Switch-A# show monitor

Session 1

Source Ports :

Both : Fa0/2

Destination Ports : Fa0/3
