Querying the Termination Call Detail table.

Hi,

Can I query the Termination CallDetail table from the AW/HDS machine? I understand that it is not advisable to do so from the Logger machines. Will the performance get affected in any way when this TCD table is queried in the AW/HDS machine?

Querying from the loggers is not advisable for any tables. This is because the loggers are very SQL intensive - data from the routers is held in tmp tables and written to the loggers, sent to HDSs for replication and also between roggers via recovery.

Essentially, anything that can hamper SQL performance on loggers should be avoided.

You should be able to query the AWDB for TCD data and I would imagine you will need to do this as webview does not have detail reporting.
