Layer 2 is up, but can't ping even a directly connected interface from HP Procurve 10GE port to Cisco 10GE port.

I would recommend you to configure 'Active' mode on either HP procurve end or switch end for ether channel to work as desired.

I've noticed that in your sh int te4/1
Last input 00:14:40, output 00:00:40, output hang never
It looks like it is not receiving any frame.
try
sh ip arp 10.34.252.26 on C6506
do you see an entry ?
