We are seeking to gain analysis of our internet traffic. In particular,

we'd like to know what traffic is causing high bandwidth utilisation:

* which workstation/ip address (so we can know which user/s),

* what protocols (eg. http, ftp, etc - what type of traffic was involved), and

* the external websites.

Any free software for this?

Thanks for the reply. unfortunately, netflow is not allowed.

Is there a command or ip accounting command in the Cisco 3750 to show the protocol traffic in real time?

how about rmon probe how to?
