I believe I have a number of Unity users that have never enrolled or setup their Unity account. I would like to remove them to free up licences. Is there a report or way that I can determine whether a user has ever enrolled (without checking every single subscriber) ?
If I could see whether the "set subscriber for self-enrollment next login" or "user must change password at next login" boxes are checked it may give me a good idea.
If not, I am probably going to have to check who doesn't have a recording in commserver\stream files against a current subscriber list. This will at least give me a starting point for closer inspection.
I don't want to rely on "message activity" to determine an "unused" account. I want to remove only those accounts where a user has never enrolled or used the account (rather than one that may not have used it recently).
Any better suggestions would be welcome.
I think a great place to start would be to use this excellent Unity Tool;
Cisco Unity Tools - Subscriber Information Dump (this can create a .csv file that contains much information including the following)
Date of subscriber creation. The date the subscriber was added to the Unity system.
Time of Last Call. Indicates the date and time the user called in to check messages last. This can be handy for finding out which boxes have not been access at all or which ones have not been accessed in a long time. This value is in GMT and not your local time, keep that in mind.
This can also show mailboxes that were created but the "self-enrollment" was never completed. This is documented nicely by two of my favourite NetPros Ginger and Tommer :)
Hope this helps!
