Achieve CCIE security as quick as possible

Unanswered Question

I want to achieve the CCIE Security certification. (I am/have CCNP and CCSP today). However, it's hard for me to find all that spare time for studiying when being home or at work.

I simply need to hide somewhere for whatever time it takes and do a crash-course / bootcamp to be prepared for both the written and the lab test.

Anyone with experience of this? Any recommendations?

My recommendation would be not to try it that way. I think that obtaining a CCIE is a process that requires deep understanding of many technologies, and such understanding cannot come from "cramming". Take your time, learn the technologies. Discipline yourself. I eschewed all other social activities while studying for my lab. I took every free second at work I could to read or configure a router or switch.

So why do you feel the need to get it as quickly as possible? Who cares how long it takes? Unless you are under some sort of odd agreement with an employer that you must pass the lab by X date, but that is a different discussion. :-)
