Cannot Access NLB

Hi,

I have a host on one side of an ASA5510 that can ping an NLB cluster address but cannot http to it or FTP etc.. only ICMP gets through.

When attempting to connect to the NLB address i get

Aug 27 2008 12:37:00: %ASA-6-302014: Teardown TCP connection 14556840 for management:HOST/55667 to internal-vlan-10:10.16.0.10/80 duration 0:00:06 bytes 0 TCP Reset-O

These resets are confusing me. My NLB is configured with Multicast and IGMP.

Can anyone advise on what to do here. I understand where the reset is coming from but is it do to with the Multicast aspect of the NLB.

Please Help

Stephen

You have to study NLB and ASA software documentation, but in principle, NLB and ASA is not compatible.
