CSS and GSS

As part of high availability configuration we are implementing GSS for site selection for the services behind CSS.

CSS checks service availability by keep alive.

GSS need to function based on the service availability status in CSS. How can this be achieved?

Can somebody please point to a link where I can understand how GSS and CSS interact together for better service availability.

You can either use simple probes on GSS to check the status of the VIPs configured on CSS or use KAL-AP keepalive to take into account LOad along with availabilty of VIPs.
