What are you trying to design that you would need both at the same time? Is Mesh what you are looking at?

I want to connect my 5 outdoor with a DS wireless:

1)802.11a used for DS

2)802.11g used for client access

I use AIR-AP1242AG-E-K9 with AIR-ANT5195P-R

for AP 4,3,5

it is possible?this is the diagram

Hi Youssef,

because the AP1242 has 2 Radios (802.11a and 802.11b/g), you can set one interface/radio to bridge mode and the other to AP mode.

In Scenarios like this 802.11a usually is used for the backhaul (bridge connection to other AP) and 802.11b/g for client access, but you can switch that.

thanks for your help all

in this scenarios with AP1242 my quetion is.(about outdoor 3)look at the diagram.

1)With the same antenna dedicated for 802.11a it is possible to bridge in the two directions (outdoor 5 toward outdoor 2 through outdoor 3 and contrary) without intervention of another antenna?

tank for your attention.
