Our HQ site only have 3 digits ext on CUCM. We are brining on a branch office setup as SRST, the branch will have 4 digits ext. The initial issue we are having is some users at the HQ ext. are 421,422,423. At the branch we are going ot use 4200-4300 for exts. So if you are trying to call 422 when an ext in the branch is 4223 your call to 422 never goes through. Is there a way we can have these calls go through

You need to ensure there are no overlaps if you desire seamless dial plan. I would recommand changing all DNs to 4 digits or adjusting the HQ or remote site DNs not to overlap.

calls should go thru if you have configured CSS and partitions the right way. try dialing and pressing # or wait 15 seconds for the call to go. those are the only 2 things you can do/wait when calling a 3 digit DN
try changing the T_302 timer to something less than 15 seconds but you will need to wait.
only way to avoid is to use other initial digit or to use 4 digits everywhere (no overlapping)
