My startup doesn't startup

Everytime I boot I have to do a "copy startup-config running-config" to get my config up. I know this is a no-brainer, But I have no brain left. EVEN IF I "COPY RUNNING-CONFIG STARTUP-CONFIG" OR "WR MEM". I still boot up in a "router>" prompt and my config is gone.

Does anyone wish to spoon feed me the answer?

Scott,

What is the configuration register set to? You can find out what it is by issuing the "show version" command. It should be 0x2102. Here is how to correct it.

Oh for crying out loud. I am such a dunce. Thanks Mark for the help I appreciate it...Good thing no one knows me here..

No big deal... It happens. That's what makes this forum so great. If nothing else it's always good for a sanity check.

Good luck!

Mark
