Call waiting on FXO port

Hello,

I have a 2811 router configured as an H323 with FXO ports going to the PSTN. I also have CallManager 6.1 and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to configure call waiting on the FXO port so that when a user is on the phone and a second call comes in it will go straight to voicemail. That is how phones are configured on our other VoIP networks and that works fine. I am just wondering if there is a way to configure call waiting to behave the same way by being passed to the Callmanager which would recognize the user is on the phone and go straight to voicemail. Thank you in advance.

Scott - Is your other VoIP system a Cisco CallManager/Cisco router system?

CSCdv71088 - CallManager cannot do a hookflash on a fxo line with Call Waiting.

Release Note:

Symptom: Ip phone cannot answer call waiting beep sent by the telco

Problem: CallManager does not have the means to send the H245 message to the gateway to answer the Call Waiting call

Workaround: Create a hunt group of FXO so the call always comes in on a new trunk and now use Call Waiting on the PSTN (use CallManager call waiting).
