NDE destination on 6509 MSFC

Hi-

I was going throught the config guide of the 6500 series switches, and I did not find any information on if it is possible to add a SECOND NDE destination netflow server and port.

Attempting to add another NDE destination on a 6509 MSFC replaced the one that is already configured.

How is it possible to forward netflows to 2 destination netflow servers on a 6509 MSFC?

Hello Nathalie,

support of two destinations for NDE export is a feature that was added later and is release dependent.

NetFlow Multiple Export Destinations-To configure redundant NDE data streams, which improves the probability of receiving complete NetFlow data, you can enter the ip flow-export destination command twice and configure a different destination IP address in each command. Configuring two destinations increases the RP CPU utilization, as you are exporting the data records twice.

It looks like it is unsupported in your current IOS release.
