CiscoWorks: Unable to connect device through telnet/ssh

1) I am unable to telnet/ssh to cisco devices through ciscoworks.

2) Unable to see the chassis view of IPS, ASA, Containt switches and Wireless Controller. It popup error as package is not installed.

Hi Amit,

I guess the required RME packages might not be installed.

Download the RME packages from Cisco site and install them.

I'm having same issue with my ASA's, when using the GUI there is no uodated package available for RME.

Delete the current instsalled packages for all the devices for which CiscoView is not working. Similarly do the same for RME.

Then check for updates, you will see the deleted package in the list of updates, download and install it again. This usually fixes it.

Sometimes ALL packages have to be deleted and re-installed, this is due to dependencies amongst the packages.

You might also require upgrading your 'software' version to a release that supports the respective device. This can be verified by the supported device tables for LMS.
